Best Beaches 🏖
Situated between Lakes Huron and Erie—it’s pretty easy to hit the beach for those who live in London. So slap on some sunscreen and jump in; the water’s great!
Grand Bend
It’s the most popular beach around here for a few good reasons: but our favourite reason has to be its sunsets. So enjoy the boardwalk and its murals, the main street, and all the people everywhere, but make sure to plan on staying late to watch the sun go down before heading home!
Ipperwash
If you’re looking for a smaller crowd, Ipperwash Beach offers the same stellar sunsets, warm water and world-class sand as its more popular cousin around the (grand) bend.
Bayfield
With a trio of beaches to choose from, Bayfield’s got a little something for everybody. Like Ipperwash, it’s also just far enough away from Grand Bend to make it a prime destination for beach bums looking to “get away from it all” for a day in the sun and surf.
Port Stanley
Feel like giving Lake Erie a little love? Look no further than Port Stanley. With a wide swatch of sand between the public parking lots and the water, the beach sports a lot of room for pickup volleyball, soccer, spikeball or a simple toss of the frisbee. As a bonus, there’s also Mackie’s and their famous Orangeade® to quench your thirst.
Long Point Provincial Park
Rocking an epic sandy beach on Lake Erie's edge, this is your go-to spot for sun-soaking, splashing in the waves, and beachcombing adventures. Whether you're into relaxation or water sports, this place is a total blast! Plus, there's also a dog beach area where your furry friends can join in the fun.
